ACI is a founding member of the UCLA Institute of the Environment’s Corporate Partners Program:

• Keeps us on the forefront of the industry in terms of best practices and emerging technologies

• Allows us to participate in research projects aimed at improving our environmental impact (e.g. Product life cycle assessments,

factory emissions testing)

Product highlights include:

• Increased use of more environmentally friendly materials such as water-based glues, vegetable dyes, hemp and organic canvas

• Increased use of recycled raw materials and components such as EVA, insole boards, sock liners, mesh linings, and nylon binding

• Continuing to identify new materials and technologies to improve the environmental impact of our products
