Founded 1972 — Ocean Pacific, previously a surfboard brand, becomes the first company to translate the West Coast surf culture into a lifestyle brand. The founder, Jim Jenks, wanted to create clothing that met the demands of surfers in and out of the water. This ignited a passion for more casual-yet-unique styles, and a global brand was born.

Comfortable, sunshine-ready clothes and accessories dominated the surf scene in the
70’s and 80’s. Fusing sports, music, art and fashion with beach culture, the brand gained notoriety and evolution continued to become a brand for all.

Many waves later, Ocean Pacific offers laid-back apparel, accessories and footwear that reflect its authentic heritage.
